Why do I climb for ROMP?
I've used a prosthetic leg my entire life. My prosthesis and the ability to walk has helped me to raise a family, travel the world, stay healthy and active, found ROMP, start businesses, explore the outdoors and climb mountains. It drives me crazy knowing that MILLIONS of people with amputation cannot access prosthetic care. Should we stand by in silence allowing this injustice to continue? Prosthetic technologies and solutions for people with amputation are available. Abundant resources needed to bring MOBILITY to all amputees EXIST. I climb for ROMP so that I can shout from the mountaintops, "enough is enough!" Access to quality prosthetic care and rehabilitation is a HUMAN RIGHT. I climb so that others can take their first steps.
Why I Climb
Climbing for ROMP is a metaphor for the mountains we all face. I'm proud to join the 10th annual Climbing for ROMP campaign and tackle my 'mountain' to help amputees get high-quality prosthetic care so they can take their first steps.
Please consider donating to my page, joining the campaign, and sharing! Every dollar is 100% tax deductible and goes directly to ROMP's mission of ensuring access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved amputees.
We climb for equitable access to care.
We climb for change.
We climb for ROMP.
